Description

You will own the technical design, development, and validation of solutions for the Managed Care Transformation program, ensuring compliance with Federal and State Medicaid requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze complex healthcare data to design technical solutions for Medicaid systems.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between internal and external Medicaid systems, ensuring data integrity and quality assurance.
• Write complex SQL queries and architect output datasets for reporting within the NC Analytics Data warehouse.
• Create and deliver business intelligence reports and metrics using SAS Business Intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to gather requirements, define business rules, and map data artifacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems analysis or related technical roles.
• Proficiency with Oracle (11), MS SQL Server, or DB2 databases.
• Strong experience developing SQL queries for data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and dataset architecture.
• Hands-on experience with file transfer methodologies and formats including CSV, TXT, and XML.
• Proven track record delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
• Working knowledge of SAS programming and tools: Base SAS 9.4, SAS Macro, SAS BI Suite, Data Integration Studio, and Enterprise Guide.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and process flows.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and/or MMIS requirements, including Claims, Provider, Eligibility, and Members processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Single Sign On (SSO) applications.
