Description

Lead technical architecture and implementation across multiple concurrent, large-scale IT projects. Manage software selection, integration, and infrastructure planning for cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of COTS applications into legacy environments, including AS/400 systems.
• Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Oversee onsite and offshore development teams, including project planning, estimates, and delivery timelines.
• Define technical architecture and solution design for complex IT initiatives.
• Guide infrastructure planning and ensure seamless system integration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on technical architecture and solution design.
• Strong software development background in Java, JavaScript, C++, and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE).
• Hands-on experience working within AS/400 environments.
• Proven ability to integrate legacy systems using ETL, ESB, or EDI.
• Experience leading development teams in agile or structured delivery models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education.
