Lead technical architecture and implementation for large-scale IT projects, guiding cross-functional teams through planning and delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions for concurrent, large-scale IT initiatives.
• Manage technical aspects of cross-functional projects, including software selection and integration.
• Integrate COTS applications into legacy AS/400 environments.
• Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept tests for new technologies.
• Oversee onsite and offshore development teams, managing planning and delivery timelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on technical architecture and solution design.
• Strong background in software development using Java, JavaScript, and C++.
• Proficiency with SQL, APIs, and Web Services.
• Experience with RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE) and AS/400 environments.
• Experience integrating legacy systems using ETL, ESB, or EDI.
• Proven experience leading development teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
