Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring frameworks, owning the release pipeline and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOAP-based web services and REST APIs.
• Refactor and reverse engineer existing applications to improve architecture.
• Manage data persistence using Hibernate, Spring JDBC, and SQL.
• Implement microservices within a distributed environment.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and continuous integration.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of IT experience with core Java 1.8 or above.
• Strong experience with Spring in backend environments.
• Proficiency with Hibernate and data persistence principles.
• Experience working with XML schemas and documents.
• Hands-on experience with Tomcat application servers.
• Working knowledge of Maven or Ant build tools.
• Practical understanding of Object-Oriented principles and Design Patterns.
• Experience operating in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD, and mocking frameworks like Mockito or EasyMock.
• Proficiency with SVN, Git, and Jenkins/Hudson for CI/CD.
