Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications and backend platform integrations using Kotlin and Java. You will contribute to the modernization of legacy monolithic systems into scalable microservices-based platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance optimization across enterprise offerings.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement components within a domain-driven, layered architecture for Android and backend services.
• Develop and enhance Android applications and backend integrations using Kotlin and Java.
• Build and maintain PaaS integrations, custom composition models, and RESTful APIs.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes and cloud-native application delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and participate in architecture reviews and code reviews.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering and Android/platform development.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems.
• Experience developing scalable APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with PaaS models and API-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with provisioning systems, identity/credential management, or secure authentication frameworks.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
