Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of API services as a technical mentor. You will own the full lifecycle from analysis to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs using Push and Open API standards.
• Build new components and modify existing code structures based on detailed requirements.
• Manage the full application lifecycle including testing, debugging, and maintenance.
• Document designs, implementations, and procedures to ensure solution stability.
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems while managing dependencies and complexity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience analyzing, designing, implementing, and integrating API solutions.
• 8+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate (ORM).
• Expertise in Web Services, including SOAP and RESTful architectures.
• Proficiency in Open API and Push API development.
• Experience with XML and JSON processing for APIs.
• Experience with Microservices, Micro gateway, or Apigee Edge technologies.
• Ability to document and maintain REST API designs using Swagger, YAML, and RAML.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or Math.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java 8, multithreading, and JUnit.
• Proficiency with GIT source control and Eclipse IDE.
