Description

Develop and maintain microservices and API-driven applications using Java and Python, owning the build, deployment, and monitoring lifecycle on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy REST-based APIs and GraphQL services.
• Develop microservices using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Manage build processes and dependencies with Gradle.
• Containerize applications using Docker for deployment on AWS.
• Monitor application health and performance within AWS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience writing and implementing Python.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and REST-based APIs.
• Experience building and managing microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Gradle build automation.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Practical experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, Fargate, and CloudWatch.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or PagerDuty.
