Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale applications within a Business Analysis and Reporting environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture, user interfaces, and detailed application designs using established Java frameworks and design patterns.
• Develop Java application code, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure adherence to secure coding practices.
• Identify reusable components, create deployment scripts, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Conduct systems analysis to enhance performance and resolve application defects through debugging and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience developing and implementing Java J2SE/EE applications in a WebSphere environment.
• 10+ years of experience as a software or solutions architect for Java-based WebSphere systems.
• 10+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
• Expertise in Web Services, including SOAP-based implementations using Apache CXF or JAX-WS.
• Deep knowledge of Java technologies and J2SE/EE.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apache Wicket and 5+ years integrating FileNet for document management via web services.
• 7+ years of experience using Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Struts frameworks.
• Experience with Angular, GitLab, and mentoring junior engineers.
