Description

You will lead architectural design and technical direction for complex software systems and development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Angular, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to teams of over 15 developers.
• Research options and implement solutions by creating POCs and technical whitepapers.
• Migrate legacy applications to containerized solutions using OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with product design and engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience programming and designing software with Java.
• 8+ years of experience working on Agile development teams, preferably using SAFe.
• Extensive experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Proficiency in Java and at least one additional language such as Node.js, Groovy, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience with containerization technologies like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of REST, Web Services, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with CI/CD and development tools including Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Jira, Nexus, Maven, and UrbanCode Deploy.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with federal or state government IT projects.
• Experience building anti-fraud applications.
