Description

Design and oversee secure, scalable cloud architectures and distributed microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design secure-by-default cloud architectures incorporating encryption, identity management, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage API design and development using Apigee Gateway to ensure scalability and security.
• Implement microservices architectures using service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Provision GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP DevOps solutions and third-party tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software architecture and development.
• Expertise in GCP Compute and Storage services including Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Storage.
• Deep knowledge of GCP database services such as Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and AlloyDB (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with GCP networking, including VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud CDN.
• Proficiency in GCP security services, specifically IAM, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Experience with data and analytics services including Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Strong background in designing distributed systems and secure API management.
• Practical experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, or Travis CI.
• Core technical skills in Java, SQL, and React.js.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with unit testing, automation testing, and performance testing frameworks.
