Description

Design and own end-to-end application architectures for complex capitation-based healthcare processing using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architectural standards, applying proven design patterns to ensure modularity and maintainability across multiple engineering teams.
• Design microservice-oriented solutions, including integration patterns, data flows, and deployment strategies optimized for hybrid environments.
• Build and integrate agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance solution capabilities in the healthcare domain.
• Review solution designs and technical specifications to ensure compliance with security, scalability, resiliency, and regulatory expectations.
• Mentor developers on best practices for Spring features, design patterns, and handling capitation domain complexities.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Kafka for data processing and messaging.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of building agents or applications using LLMs and GenAI technologies.
• Experience in the healthcare domain, specifically with capitation or payer ecosystems.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear architectural blueprints.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing application performance on Linux platforms.
• Background in assessing technical debt and proposing remediation strategies.
