Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Python in an AWS environment
• Design and implement solutions using AWS ECS, Lambda, and S3 services
• Work with relational databases and cloud data warehouses to support application requirements
• Build and optimize microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures
• Design and implement REST APIs for enterprise applications

Qualifications

• Required
  • Advanced proficiency in Java (approximately 75% of development work)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS ECS for both web services and batch processing
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS S3
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of serverless patterns
  • Solid understanding of REST API design
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architectures
  • 5+ years of software development experience or demonstrated equivalent capability at a strong intermediate level
• Preferred
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience configuring multi-account or AWS Cross-Account roles and access policies
  • Familiarity with Okta integration for single sign-on (SSO) and application security
