Description

You will design, develop, and maintain microservices applications within an AWS environment, owning the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and code scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering to drive independent technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot engineering applications by analyzing log files and error messages to identify root causes.
• Document software designs and adhere to industry best practices for the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven hands-on experience building and deploying microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including Java Spark and EMR.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as OCP (OpenShift) or Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging and investigative skills for complex system issues.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable major.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Payments Network environments.
