Develop and maintain high-quality Java code for complex enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs using the Spring Framework.
• Collaborate on n-tier architecture across UI, Business Logic, and Data Access layers.
• Utilize transactional databases and SQL to ensure data integrity.
• Mentor team members and enforce software implementation best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of J2EE/Jakarta EE framework and architecture expertise (Java 7/8).
• 6+ years of experience with Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• 6+ years of transactional database and SQL expertise using DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful web services and APIs.
• Experience with ORM tools including MyBatis, Entity Framework, Hibernate, or JPA.
• Strong expertise in Object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of SOA architecture and web services internals.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket version control.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Unix utilities and shells such as Bash and Python.
• Understanding of delivery methodologies and tools.
