Description

You will design and implement scalable back-end systems and APIs for distributed environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Implement business logic using J2EE and Jakarta EE frameworks.
• Manage data persistence using SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
• Utilize ORM tools and SOA architecture to build distributed systems.
• Manage source code using Git or Bitbucket version control.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in J2EE and Jakarta EE frameworks.
• Extensive experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on expertise in RESTful web services and API development.
• Experience with DB2 and ORM tools.
• Knowledge of SOA architecture.
• Proficiency with Git or Bitbucket.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unix and Bash scripting.
• Proficiency in Python.
