You will build and maintain scalable backend components using Java, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available backend software components.
• Develop automated tests and deliver code within CI/CD environments.
• Analyze requirements and prepare technical designs for new features.
• Conduct design and code reviews, fix bugs, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of server-side development with Java.
• Prior experience working at PayPal.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
• Proficiency with Java, REST APIs, and Web Services.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of basic algorithms and computer engineering foundations.
• Experience with unit and functional testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
