Design and implement highly scalable Java applications and platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-level and low-level technical solution design and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and product management to set priorities and deliver products.
• Establish technical best practices, non-functional standards, and quality guidelines.
• Implement models and algorithms operating on massive datasets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing highly scalable applications.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Java and RESTful webservices using Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture, Service Registry, and ELK/Splunk.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud Architecture and end-to-end ownership of cloud-based projects.
• Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience working within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience interacting with global engineering teams across different geographies.
