Description

You will lead the modernization of a legacy enterprise system into a microservices and event-driven architecture on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven patterns using Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Migrate components to a microservices architecture deployed on Azure.
• Provide light production support for existing backend systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Java 8 through Java 17.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, including Spring Data and Cloud.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (Producer/Consumer).
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps pipelines.
