Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade APIs and cloud-native applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves building scalable, secure, and resilient microservices using modern Java technologies and cloud-native architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise applications and APIs.
• Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka / Confluent Cloud and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and SQL databases.
• CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, automated testing, and cloud-native deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect Certification.
• Experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, Cloud SQL.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
• Experience in financial services or high-volume transaction systems.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and Zero Trust security
