Description

You will serve as the technical lead for complex Java and AWS design challenges, establishing code standards and conducting thorough code reviews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement software solutions by analyzing complex business requirements and generating technical specifications.
• Develop microservices and implement instrumentation to gather business-specific metrics regarding consumer usage patterns.
• Manage cloud data stores including S3, DynamoDB, and Amazon RDS.
• Execute DevOps practices using continuous delivery pipelines with tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Maintain quality, security, and compliance through test automation in a test-driven development environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Core Java and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Java SE 8, Java EE, JSP, and Servlets.
• Extensive experience building microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful architectures.
• Minimum 4 years of experience deploying solutions to AWS, specifically using S3, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Proficiency with build and version control tools including Git, Bitbucket, SVN, and Maven.
• Experience in data modeling and developing data matching algorithms.
• Strong analytical skills for modeling, simulation, and technical analysis.
