Description

You will develop and manage scalable backend applications for the transport industry using Java and AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java/JEE (versions 7 through 12).
• Manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure using AWS and Cloudformation.
• Design and implement data persistence layers with PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Collaborate within agile frameworks like Scrum or SAFe to deliver project milestones.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of application development experience with Java/JEE (versions 7-12), JBOSS, and Tomcat.
• 5+ years of experience managing applications in AWS using Cloudformation.
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Kafka.
• 1+ years of experience in the transport industry, such as aviation or rail.
• 4+ years of experience working in agile process models (Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience with microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of Java REST-API development.
• Experience in target group-oriented communication, such as consulting or architecture roles.
