Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect and optimize large-scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark
• Write complex SQL/NoSQL queries and optimize database performance for high-throughput applications
• Design and implement secure, well-documented RESTful APIs
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Partner closely with frontend teams, product managers, and DevOps to deliver seamless end-to-end features

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience primarily focused on backend engineering
• Deep expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17+), including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and design patterns
• Extensive experience with Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data)
• Proven track record of building and tuning production-grade data pipelines using Apache Spark
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions), Maven/Gradle, and Docker
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with excellent communication abilities

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, state management) for full-stack collaboration
• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
