Description

Design and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and the Spring framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features using Java 8 and the Spring framework.
• Implement message-driven architectures using Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java backend.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 with deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience with Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
