Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java 8, 11, and 17.
• Develop microservices and web applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure RESTful and SOAP-based web services using OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
• Manage messaging systems using RabbitMQ and support production environments through on-call troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (versions 8, 11, 17).
• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with RESTful and SOAP-based services.
• Implementation experience with OAuth 2.0 and JWT for API security.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Experience with secrets management tools like Vault.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with feature flagging and canary deployments.
