You will design and maintain scalable backend systems using Java EE technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web services and microservices in a commercial environment.
• Transform business requirements into scalable software designs using OOP principles.
• Apply design patterns and MVC architecture to ensure system reliability.
• Lead technical initiatives and advocate for high code craftsmanship.
• Execute software development using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Java EE technologies, including servlet containers and JMS.
• Proficiency with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Extensive experience designing and building REST APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, JDBC, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with NoSQL and modern database storage technologies.
• Competency in Java build tools and unit testing.
• Understanding of SOA standards including OAuth, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Identity standards and domain-specific expertise.
