Description
Build real-time data pipelines and microservices using Java, Spark, Kafka, and Flink. Manage release processes and troubleshoot production issues.
Responsibilities
- Build real-time data pipelines using Java, Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
- Develop Spring Boot microservices with Cassandra and Elasticsearch backends.
- Manage code, configurations, and release processes across multiple environments.
- Design high-level architectures during the discovery phase of large projects.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional programming experience in Java/J2EE.
- Hands-on experience with Spark Streaming, Flink, and Hive.
- Experience with Kafka or similar distributed publish-subscribe messaging systems.
- Proficiency with NoSQL technologies including Cassandra and Elasticsearch.
- Experience building REST microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience managing data lake and data warehouse ingestion.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Cloud stacks including BigQuery and GCS.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, OneOps, and SonarQube.
