Description

Build real-time data pipelines and microservices using Java, Spark, Kafka, and Flink. Manage release processes and troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Build real-time data pipelines using Java, Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
• Develop Spring Boot microservices with Cassandra and Elasticsearch backends.
• Manage code, configurations, and release processes across multiple environments.
• Design high-level architectures during the discovery phase of large projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional programming experience in Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with Spark Streaming, Flink, and Hive.
• Experience with Kafka or similar distributed publish-subscribe messaging systems.
• Proficiency with NoSQL technologies including Cassandra and Elasticsearch.
• Experience building REST microservices using Spring Boot.
• Experience managing data lake and data warehouse ingestion.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud stacks including BigQuery and GCS.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, OneOps, and SonarQube.
