Description

Design and build large-scale distributed systems and microservices. Own the full development lifecycle from architecture to agile delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices for large-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Build n-tier applications using RESTful services and Java/J2EE.
• Develop and maintain tools for the Accessibility team as a full-stack engineer.
• Contribute to technology direction to drive measurable business improvements.
• Apply agile development methodologies to deliver software.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE and XML.
• Experience with NoSQL technologies including Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in RESTful services and web technologies.
• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Hands-on experience with source control systems like Git or Clearcase.
• Experience using JIRA for issue tracking.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• ANY GRADUATE education.
• 5+ years of working experience.
• Minimum 1-year tenure in previous roles.
