Description

You will own backend services development using Java and design techniques in large-scale environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep knowledge to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Architect and implement multi-region CockroachDB clusters for high availability.
• Build low-latency, high-TPS gRPC APIs using microservice design patterns.
• Partner with stakeholders daily to maintain focus on common goals.
• Drive technical direction by staying abreast of industry technology trends.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Java (Java 17/21) and the Spring technology stack.
• Proficiency in microservice design patterns.
• Expertise in database SQL and modeling on CockroachDB and Oracle.
• Proficiency with Kafka and MQ messaging systems.
• Proven experience architecting CockroachDB clusters with geo-proximity routing.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and TDD.
• Familiarity with cloud development principles and security best practices.
• Experience working in large, collaborative teams using Agile frameworks.
