Description

You will build and maintain high-scale backend services using microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java or Kotlin, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Design and implement event-driven pipelines and multi-threaded, 3-tier architectures.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and product management teams to integrate new features.
• Apply strong testing practices to ensure code quality and system stability.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot Reactive.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and standard design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of Kafka for event-driven systems.
• Practical experience deploying code using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design.
