Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a hybrid role.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using service-oriented architecture and standard design patterns.
• Apply domain-driven design principles, including bounded contexts, aggregates, and value objects.
• Manage MySQL database operations, including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices to support service deployment.
• Collaborate within Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence to track progress and documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Expertise in the Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and Kafka for event streaming.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL and experience with NoSQL or Postgres databases.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of domain-driven design (DDD).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Javascript and Angular.
• Background in the payment domain.
