Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 11+.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build microservices and event-driven systems.
• Implement MVC patterns and manage RESTful APIs with Swagger and Postman.
• Deploy and maintain software on AWS or Azure public cloud environments.
• Apply TDD and BDD practices using Cucumber and Selenium.
• Conduct in-person technical interviews for backend roles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java 11 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Expertise with datastores: AWS Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Redis, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with message streaming and MQ solutions (AWS Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ).
• Knowledge of AWS services: API Gateway, ALB, NLB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and KMS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid onsite environments in Chicago.
• Ability to conduct technical interviews.
