Description

Design and maintain scalable backend services and distributed applications using Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and support real-time data processing and streaming pipelines using Kafka.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases for storage, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Develop monitoring dashboards and system observability using Grafana.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform scalability and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and production support.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Experience building observability dashboards with Grafana.
• Basic networking knowledge, including protocols, routers, and general concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in scalable environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Golang or Python.
• Exposure to telemetry platforms such as Prometheus, Thanos, or MDT.
• Domain experience in large-scale network engineering or observability systems.
