Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and distributed systems in Montreal.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain RESTful services supporting HTTPS and HTTP/2 protocols.
• Develop and deploy complex distributed, multi-tenant systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug production systems and application code.
• Apply modern observability stacks to monitor system health.
• Manage Kubernetes infrastructure and containerized deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and OCI images.
• Expertise in Kubernetes infrastructure management.
• Experience implementing modern authentication standards like OIDC.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
