Description

Lead the modernization of legacy tax systems through full-lifecycle software development and technical leadership.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, programming, testing, and implementation of automated applications.
• Develop and review detailed technical documentation and system specifications.
• Mentor staff in J2EE, Spring, and distributed technologies.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and coordinate code migrations from development to user test environments.
• Manage defect resolution and provide technical guidance throughout the project management life cycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 5 years of experience building and testing Java EE applications using Eclipse, Netbeans, or IntelliJ.
• 5 years of experience with J2EE frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
• 5 years of experience with Application Servers including Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere, or Weblogic.
• 5 years of experience writing SQL statements for relational databases.
• 5 years of experience in system analysis and design of multi-tiered transactional systems.
• 3 years of experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
• Proficiency in JSON and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with XQuery and DB2.
