Description

Lead the design, development, and testing of scalable Java-based software systems and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and Java EE applications throughout the full software development life cycle.
• Design database schemas and implement DDL and DML using PostgreSQL.
• Participate in technical discussions, requirements analysis, and design within an Agile distributed team.
• Write unit test cases, perform debugging, and execute defect fixing to ensure code quality.
• Research and implement new tools and technologies through proof of concepts.

Required Skills

• 12-20 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Core Java and JEE, specifically Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in microservices development and REST API design.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational database management.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Development.
• Experience working within Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency using Git for version control.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
