Description

You will build, maintain, and mentor development of server-side Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement server-side applications using J2EE and Java.
• Design features using Design Patterns and GOF principles.
• Build and consume RESTful web services.
• Mentor junior developers on technical standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience building server-side applications.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Multithreading.
• Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks, specifically Spring.
• Experience with Web Services (REST).
• Proficiency with database systems, including DB2.
• Working knowledge of Application Servers such as Tomcat and Websphere.
• Experience with Unix or Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology (Scrum).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GIT, Teamcity, or IBM MQ.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or AngularJS.
