Description

Lead design and development of complex Java applications, migrations, and system additions. Define coding standards and translate detailed specifications into technical documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership for large-scale development projects and define coding standards with architects.
• Develop custom Java applications within an agile team environment and review applications for compliance.
• Mentor less experienced developers on technical issues and best practices.
• Assess high-level design requirements and translate them into technical documentation, including data flow and architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Expertise in Core Java and frameworks: Struts, Spring, Hibernate.
• Extensive experience with distributed Java, J2EE, SOA, and middleware (JSP, JSTL, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JAXB, Maven, log4j, JUnit).
• Proficiency in Microservices (REST API), Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Zuul, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Advanced knowledge of AngularJS (v2+) and creating reusable, testable components.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Dojo) and Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, XML, RESTful).
• Proficiency in XML technologies (XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSLT) and CI/CD toolchains.
• Competency in C# and SQL-related technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of end-to-end application delivery across mainframe, client-server, and web platforms.
• Experience integrating single sign-on solutions.
