Description

Lead backend development for distributed components and server applications in a Unix environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs and distributed components.
• Develop Java server applications implementing multi-threading and high-concurrency logic.
• Manage software builds and dependencies using Maven, Nexus, or Gradle.
• Collaborate with distributed teams using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Core Java (Java 8+).
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in building Microservices.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Ability to write Shell Scripting and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with JUnit for testing.
• Knowledge of J2EE technologies including EJBs, servlets, JSP, and Struts.
• Proficiency with GitHub and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of performance profiling tools such as jProbe, jMeter, or YourKit.
