Description

Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java-based backend services and microservices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure system performance.
• Mentor backend engineers through code reviews and technical sessions.
• Drive best practices in software design, testing, and performance tuning.
• Own the full development lifecycle from technical design to deployment and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience, including 2+ years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 11, and multithreading.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture (Kafka or RabbitMQ).

Preferred Skills

• Custom development in Salesforce platform using Apex and LWC.
