Description

You will design and maintain scalable Java microservices and identity management systems on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle services using Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and production support through root cause analysis.
• Write automated tests and adhere to engineering best practices for high code quality.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical service support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in OAuth, security token management, and database design.
• Proven track record in production ownership and incident response.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Okta or other Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
• Familiarity with distributed databases such as CockroachDB or Cassandra.
• Understanding of SSO, SAML, OpenID Connect, or CIAM platforms.
