Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices architectures. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis and software component design.
• Develop functional software components and technical prototypes.
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews for team members.
• Mentor junior engineers and take ownership of delivery quality and schedules.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Java 8/11, J2EE, JTA, and JMS.
• Deep knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Annotations, and Spring Integration.
• Experience with Hibernate and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Practical experience with Microservices, Eureka, and service registries.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Cloud deployment scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with AWS services including IAM, EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, algorithms, and Software Engineering fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Retail industry domain knowledge.
• Japanese language skills.
