Description

Design, build, and maintain Java-based applications and services for the MineStar ecosystem, owning technical outcomes from refinement through release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Deliver features end-to-end within scrum teams, ensuring clean, well-tested, and secure code aligned to engineering standards.
• Contribute to solution design and technical decision-making for complex distributed systems and database architectures.
• Support production operations by monitoring services, troubleshooting incidents, and performing root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers through pairing and coaching, while participating in code reviews to promote continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of commercial development experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Proven experience building microservices and exposing RESTful APIs.
• Strong background in database design and distributed system architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure deployment and web application scaling.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting or auxiliary services.
• Experience with build, test, and dependency management tools.
• Understanding of security principles and resilient system design.

• Experience modern database technologies beyond standard relational stores.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a consistent approach to self-development and learning.
