Description

You will design and debug software enhancements while managing on-prem API Gateway infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage API Gateway infrastructure, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Enhance API pipeline scripts to automate large-scale API publishing.
• Create and monitor alerts using Splunk and other alerting tools.
• Perform performance tuning to improve platform efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers and users to define system requirements and modifications.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of industry experience in Java.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with Cloud technologies.
• Experience with API Gateway Management Platforms (e.g., WSO2, Apigee, MuleSoft, or CA Layer 7).
• Proficiency in end-to-end systems development life cycles.
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations, and operations.
• Ability to use sequence diagrams and class models for solution design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience specifically with WSO2 API Manager.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and the Spring framework.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
