Description

You will design and develop backend services for core banking integrations, translating application requirements into functional, scalable applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable Java code to ensure application performance and scalability.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional backend services.
• Integrate applications with core banking systems using web services and messaging technologies.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues within the application.
• Maintain code quality through proper exception handling, testing, and automation practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE projects.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and understanding of microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring AOP, Spring Data JPA, Spring JDBC).
• Expertise with SQL databases (Oracle), including complex query writing, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with messaging technologies: JMS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control (GIT, RTC).
• Understanding of data formats and schemas: WSDL, XML, XSD, JSON, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
