Description

You will own the full stack, splitting time equally between middle-tier server logic and presentation tier development. You translate business analyst requirements into technical designs and source code.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features from the front end through to the database and OOM layer.
• Develop unit test cases and support functional and system integration testing.
• Implement component designs and manage deployments.
• Support production environments to meet development schedules.
• Focus on non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
• Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries and the Executor framework.
• Hands-on experience implementing RESTful web services.
• Experience with JBOSS, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, and Angular.
• Experience with AJAX, jQuery, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Solid understanding of SQL database design and stored procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience developing property and casualty applications.
