Description

You will own backend engineering and system design for capital markets and investment banking platforms, splitting your time between active development and architectural planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade code with an 80% focus on active development.
• Design system architectures and manage project workflows for 20% of your time.
• Implement messaging patterns using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Manage data persistence using Oracle or Postgres databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• Expertise in Java 17 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Kubernetes.
• Experience in capital markets or investment banking sectors.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
