Description

Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build web services using HTTP REST, JSON, and SOAP protocols.
• Apply object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including design patterns and data transfer objects.
• Write unit tests and maintain code within a continuous integration environment.
• Collaborate directly with end users to solicit and formalize technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Hands-on experience building web services with HTTP REST, JSON, and SOAP.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented design principles.
• Practical experience with unit testing and continuous integration workflows.
• Experience working within agile development frameworks to handle dynamic priorities.
• Familiarity with mainframe z/OS environments and DB2 backends.
• Ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working on AML applications.
