Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications for financial systems while leveraging Python for data processing and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize microservices and RESTful APIs for banking and financial workflows.
• Develop automation scripts and data pipelines using Python, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in coding, architecture, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business analysts to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Core Java, including Collections, Multithreading, and Streams.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA for enterprise application development.
• Strong experience with Python scripting, automation, and data libraries (Pandas/NumPy).
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of financial domain workflows including payments, risk, and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration in production environments.
