Description

You will design and develop scalable, secure microservices and cloud-native components using Java. You will own the release pipeline, implementing performance optimizations, profiling, and tuning for high-throughput applications. You will collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver high-quality software through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing. You will ensure compliance with security standards and maintain rigorous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build maintainable microservices using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging.
• Optimize application performance through profiling and code tuning.
• Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet security and quality standards.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of experience in Java-based software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).
• Experience with asynchronous messaging tools such as Kafka.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to API gateways, service mesh, or distributed tracing.
• Experience with conversational agents or generative AI concepts.
