Description

Lead the design, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of Java microservices and applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based microservices from end to end.
• Integrate applications with various subsystems and resolve complex integration issues.
• Investigate code-level bugs independently and implement technical solutions.
• Own the testing and deployment lifecycle for your applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases (MySQL or MSSQL).
• Hands-on experience with AOP and AspectJ.
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency with Maven for build automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud SDKs (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and cloud storage (S3 or Azure Storage).
